GED: What does it stand for and what can it do for me?

It stands for General Educational Development. It is an educational program supported by the Department of Education of the US, and it was designed to bring you back on line with your education, basically giving you a second chance to graduate at a High School level, and allowing you to proudly hold that Diploma.
